The month from.... well you know.

October was an awful month. (Not including my craft shows, they were pretty awesome). And when I started this post November seemed like the month full of suck had ended. Oh how I was I wrong.
Between the disasters at work, the basement sewer backing up, far too much over scheduling, and closing our precious 4 year old kitty I thought that's the worst that could come about right?
Too bad I was wrong. Cancer can kindly go eff itself.

 Well now that the wedding is over, I'm planning 2 baby showers! Yes 2!!! I'm super excited about both. The first shower is for a very dear friend of mine. Its pink and green owl themed. This invitation is super cute! It doesn't match the "theme" exactly but there is an owl! So I say it counts. The rest of cards over at shutterfly are awesome as well! Go. Check them out!

Here comes the bride....

My wedding is in 5 days!! I'm getting so excited!

After the wedding there are 8 craft shows on the schedule for the fall/holiday season. And i will also be planning TWO baby showers! My future hubby had the idea to blog about the showers as i'm planning and making things and I think it's a great idea!! I am awesome at planning and DIYing things so this should be a pretty cool adventure!!

Planning a wedding takes tons of work. Thats the reason for a lack of posting.

Update!

I had two very cool posts scheduled to post here and they mysteriously disappeared. (Ah, technology!)
They even had photos! But alas, this will have to do until I can get home and figure out what happened to them.
On with the update:
I have officially decided to end my status as a Close to my Heart Consultant. While I am sad to be leaving just after my 4 year anniversary, I just don't have the time to commit to it.  (The reasons why follow below)
I will continue to have items being featured at New 2 You in Irwin. There is everything from Hairbows, to dresses, to Superhero capes! Tell Melissa I sent you!
The most exciting part of all of this is that I was accepted as a crafter at Handmade in America in the Great Southern shopping plaza in Brideville. Starting April 1st (technically March 31st you can go in and purchase) you can pick up wands, pillowcase dresses, superhero kits, teething rings, burp cloths and bibs there!

Spring Is In The Air!

Things at here at Hey Baby! Boutique have been moving quite fast here lately. Spring Shows are in the works which means i'm busy in my craft studio cranking out projects!

Upcoming Craft Shows:
March 10th- Linton Elementary School- 250 Aster Street, Penn Hills, PA    10am til 3pm
                           This show benefits the PTA
March 31st- William Anderson Library- 1037 Stotler Road, Penn Hills, PA    11am til 4pm
                           Breakfast with the Easter Bunny! This benefits Homeless Children's Education Fund
April 14th- St. Pius Byzantine Church- 2336 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA      10am til 4 pm
                           Benefits the St. Pius Byzantine Chuche
May 5th- Gill Hall VFD- 1228 Gill Hall Rd. Jefferson Hills, PA      10am til 3pm
                           Benefits the Volunteer Fire Company of Jefferson Hills

The majority of these shows are free. They also have bake sales, chineese auctions, and concession stands.
