What i've been up to lately....

I embossed this in my Cuttlebug, and attached a transparency over top that says lov in rub on's, and the "u" is a sticker outlined with cardstock.

Valentine's Day?! OH NO! I didnt mean to panic you all out there. I just really tired of making Christmas cards, and had some new dies to play with. So the Cuttlebug got alot og use!

I love Michael's for their Studio G stamps, and thier awesome ribbon! (that rickrack especially)

Square cards are just too cute... but i always have trouble with my layouts, because i like to use the "rule of thirds" too much. (my photography professor from years ago would kill me....)

This one mimicks a file folder....

I tried my had at "reverse spotlighting" although i think i could have made the paper a little more patterned like the tutorial i saw.

I got impatient, and this card was really hard to photograph because it doesn't stand up, and it wouldnt lay flat either! There is actually a little space to write on in the inside (the blue that has the purple behind it) (these are also papers-and stickers- that D's sister got me for christmas and i love! how elegant they look)

I did this card after a sample that was in the new Paper Crafts magazine... You can't see it here but the circle with the ribbon is done on light blue paper, inked in pink pigment ink, and embossed with clear powder, so its gloss and shiny like a button.

More of those papers from D's sister. simple but cute. and there are even cute little felt flowers under the sentiment (the sentiment is a sticker from the stuff D's sis got me too)

More of those beautiful papers. So colorful! I love them!!

  1. You've been busy. Maybe that rule of 1/3s is what challenges me with the square format as well....great minds?
    Happy New Year!

  3. The cuttlebug heart card is really neat. Good idea to put a transparency over the embossed piece.
