SNOW!!!!
While its pretty and all, it makes traffic in Pittsburgh SUCK! People drive like there is 10 feet of snow instead of the actual precipitation not even laying on the road.
Here are the two cards that i made Sunday morning before going to work at Michael's.
I'm disappointed with the scalloped rectangle. Not nearly as cute as i had hoped for. And i always have trouble lining up my corners so they look nice. (i need some Nestabilities!)
There will be cards later i'm sure because i'm not going anywhere because its TOO COLD!
you work at Michaels?! How fun! ...how dangerous!! ;)
ReplyDeleteI have both of these stamps! I really like what you did with them. We get snow here in Dallas every once in a while and people drive like maniacs here too. Be safe!

Do your really 'work' at Michaels or is it just extra time to shop?? Just kidding...like the cards a lot. I have trouble with scalloped rectangles too.

Hiya Karyn! Stopping in to say hello! These are great cards! I love the flower theme! I am a sucker for anything flowered! Really nice job! : )
ReplyDeleteHi Karyn, working at Michaels sounds like so much fun...but I would spend more than I would make, LOL. Not very different from being a SU Demo, hehehehe
ReplyDeleteIt's great to meet you and I am looking forward to getting to know you more!
Nice cards. I like the black with the little pop of color on the image.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember the last time I left Michael's empty handed so the thought of working there terrifies me to no end (LOL)! I was there today and bought Bienfang watercolor brush pens. Very interesting to work with.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are great. I like the scalloped rectangle and think we can be our own worst critics--I know I am.
I hear you about drivers. We must have had the same storm pass through...(I work in Philadelphia) we only got a dusting this afternoon but people were nutty on the roads today. I'm not looking forward to the drive home tomorrow (12/5) because depending on which weather person you listen to, we could have a coating to six inches of snow.
These are lively cards, Sista
ReplyDeleteDriving in IL can be frustrating too. I like both of these cards. I think the rectangle looks great!
ReplyDeleteI feel ya on the "needing" nestabilities but you did a really good job on your rectangle. Be careful in the snow.
